Houston has prior experience at an AM 200 law firm and boutique law firms specializing in commercial real estate involving a wide range of real estate-related transactions. He has a strong record of assisting clients with real estate acquisitions, sales, financing, leasing and development.

Houston has managed an impressive deal flow, fast establishing himself as a go-to lawyer for those looking to buy and sell real estate. He has successfully completed various transactions, where he provided end-to-end legal counsel concerning numerous asset types, including mixed-use development, commercial, office, retail, multi-family and single-family development, medical office building and healthcare real estate. Houston has also represented clients in a variety of corporate transactions where real estate comprised a primary interest.

Houston’s attention to detail and transactional experience are valued by clients. He develops strong working relationships with colleagues in order to oversee each phase of a transaction, from document drafting to closing. He also provides legal counsel relating to lease agreements, easements, restrictive covenant agreements, site development agreements, tax escrow agreements, property management agreements and license agreements.
